Phoebe has no problem going to the potty without her nappies now since I trained her 6 months ago..I was wondering if it's time to go to the next stage - without nappies during the night and nap time. I was reading the potty training book by Dr Jane Gilbert on the part on dry nights.
It stated: Don't rush your child out of nappies: there is little point in trying for dry nights until he's totally reliable during the day. If he's still having frequent accidents, then it's too much to expect him to get up, find the potty and go for a wee when he's fast asleep. In general, between the ages of 3 and 4 is a good time to try your child without a nappy at night, although some may be ready much earlier. Signs that your child may be ready include:
His nappy is dry when he wakes in the morning.
He wakes in the night and asks to go for a wee.
He tears off his nappy off in the night.
His nappy leaks in the early moring.
He is keen to try without nappies.
Hmm..I think will try to let Phoebe has her nap time without the nappy first and see how it goes...*cross my finger*
