My 1st attempt making Oreo cheesecake

Well, first attempt and wasn't really successful. Guess I've used the 22cm pan instead of the 20cm one (will try to get one soon) so the cake turned out to be too thin. Nevertheless the taste was real good and Phoebe and hubby simply love the cake!

Yum yum! Phoebe kept asking for more!

1st "unofficial" day @ Little Steps Pre-nursery

Teacher Shirley has requested me to bring Phoebe to class to try to adjust to the surrounding before class starts next mon. So these were some of the pics I took when I brought her there this morning. Well, so far so good..she seemed ok for the half-hour stay there and able to mix ard with her new friends.

Ondeh Ondeh

The steamed sweet potato mashed and kneaded into a dough with tapioca flour, sugar and pandan juice.


The dough made into balls filled up with gula melaka and boiled.

The cooked dough rolled with coconut shreds and ta da! Mouth-watering Ondeh Ondeh done!

It has been a long while since I make Ondeh Ondeh so decided to try out this morning with my sis. We bought the ingredients frm ntuc yesterday night when we went to our mum's plc for dinner. Well, it's real easy to make and taste not bad! I even asked my hubby to come back frm office to take some bck to his colleagues to try out..Will check with him what's their comments tonight!

I was opening the storeroom for a bottle of dettol for my washing when I saw the pair of Crocs Alice shoes. It was a gift frm Wenda which he got it frm the warehouse sale at the Expo sometimes ago. Will have to wait till Phoebe's feet grow bigger before they can fit into this lovely pair of shoes...thanks to wenda korkor on behalf of Phoebe!
I've this sudden thought of those pretty outfits my sis had bought for Phoebe few months bck so I quickly rummaged thru her closet for them and took pics for my blog. My sis got these two blouses frm old navy during her flight to US. (Nt bad to hv a sis working as flight attendant!) And not forgetting to thanks her for the many other stuffs she had got for us overseas including a lovely perfume from Victoria Secret(it comes together with a small pretty pink bag)..My sis bought so many outfits frm H&M, old navy, cotton-on-kids, Hushhush frm her US , Japan and London trip for little Phoebe and Jayden..Well thanks to Xiaoyi, Phoebe got so many pretty outfits to wear!! Muacks!!

What's for dinner tonight?

Today I've cooked sm angel hair spaghetti topped with Leggo's carbonara reduced salt pasta sauce for dinner. Instead of the usual minced meat, I've used some leftover honey baked ham used to make sandwiches for hubby's breakfast few days ago. I added egg, cheese and steamed broccoii and Ta Da..my final product. A healthy yet simple to prepare dinner for the three of us and most important of all, Phoebe enjoyed tonight dinner so much!

Love is in the air...

This year valentine's day, hubby gave me a red gem agate necklace which has the effect of improving health, relieves stress and helps in blood circulation. He even bought me 3 stalk of roses too (he gave me 1 stalk last year). Well that's real nice of him which made me felt a tiny bit of guilty cos I didn't give him anything this year..

We even went to Kenny Rogers for dinner with Phoebe. Well, who says valentine's day is for couples only, right? We had ribs, chicken, soups, macaroni cheese and their famous corn muffins..Nt a bad place for family's dinner..there's even a section of books for both children and adults to browse while eating. Well, nt bad, at least it's a tummy-filling valentine's day for me!
