After breakast at Jurong East yesterday morning, we went up to my parents hse. (Phoebe had been pestering me to go wai po hse in the car). After which I decided to go to Jurong Pt (my parents live directly opp Jurong Pt) to get a piece of cheese pancake frm Jollibean for Phoebe's lunch later on. I walked past Toys'R'us and saw this sign saying 50% storewide so decided to walk in and have a look. It seemed to me they were planning to shift their store smwhere else..so I checked with the staff and he told me they will be closing down this store and this storewide discount ends tomorrow! They started this discount 2 wks ago..OMG!
Without much hesitation I looked around to see if I could grab something for Phoebe..well, saw quite a no. of things worth buying. (parents saw the sign and were flocking in too..I better hurry..guess I've become very aunty! LoL)
I grabbed the princess ride-on (usual price: $59.95)-the packaging was a bit torn off but who cares since its so cheap and the content inside's intact, the dora backpack(usual price: $49.90) and the cars megablock(usual price: $69.95)-which is meant for Jayden's birthday in May. I intended to grab somemore but guessed these 3 things would already be quite bulky for me to carry them back so no choice but to stop..
At the cashier, I saw someone infront of me paying for a leapfrog dvd..I put my stuffs down and rushed to grab two more of the dvd too..(Heehee one for myself and one for my sis). The dvd costed $5 each (not sure the usual price but guessed it's real cheap for the brand).
I paid a total of $99.90 for these stuffs which originally cost me $$189.80 or even more!!! So satisfied!!
